Generate objects with the AI Wizard

The AI Wizard drafts content for you inside the Campaign Builder — a set of investigations, a batch of questions, a path skeleton, vocabulary, and more. You stay in control: everything lands as a reviewable draft that you commit (or undo) explicitly.

Generate and commit

1. Open the AI Wizard

   In the Builder, tap the sparkle AI Wizard button in the app bar. A session opens — as a side panel on tablet/desktop, or a draggable bottom sheet on mobile. The header shows a scope button (defaulting to Campaign) and a quota badge.

2. Set the scope (optional)

   The scope button reads Campaign, a path’s guiding question, or a node’s learning objective. Tap it to open Switch scope and re-target — this costs no tokens. Scope determines what you can generate: campaign → paths/vocabulary, path → nodes/vocabulary, node → investigations/questions/reports/media.

3. Tap Create, then pick what to generate

   Tap the Create chip, then a target chip. At node scope these are Investigations, Questions, Reports, Media, and All; at campaign scope Paths, Vocabulary, All; at path scope Nodes, Vocabulary, All.

4. Add optional guidance and send

   The chat field offers a pedagogical placeholder (for example, “push toward evaluation and synthesis”). Type guidance if you like, then send with the advance die. Generation runs (the app-bar d20 rolls) and the new items land on the canvas with a pending review badge — applied inline, no extra tap.

5. Review the draft

   The assistant bubble gives a coaching summary, optional Next steps, and a changelog of what was added or changed. New items are badged on the canvas; open any to preview, edit in place (no tokens), or delete.

6. Refine or commit

   To revise, tap Give Feedback (or type). To keep the draft, tap Commit — inserts, updates, and deletes are written in one transaction (deletions are gated by a confirm dialog). After committing you get a completion animation and a Saved to <target> summary with count chips.
