Create a free account, verify your email, and make your first campaign — a personal House is set up for you automatically.
Verified against app build 416eaf32d · 2026-05-29
Getting started as a Game Master is free. You’ll sign up with your email, verify a code, and create your first campaign — and RPGLMS sets up a personal House for you automatically along the way. Creating campaigns and parties works on the Free tier; only AI generation requires an upgrade.
Email sign-in
RPGLMS currently signs you in with email and password — that’s the only method shown on the login card today. (Sign-in with Google and Apple exists in the system but is turned off in the current build.)
Look around first, no account needed
Want to see the experience before signing up? The public preview at app.rpglms.com/demo lets you explore the learning flow and a sandbox. It doesn’t run the real signup or campaign-creation flow — for that, follow the steps below.
Create your account
-
Roll for initiative
Launch the app and tap anywhere on the title screen — the prompt reads ROLL FOR INITIATIVE. A d20 rolls and, since you’re not signed in yet, you land on the login screen.

Choose Email, then Sign me up!
On the login card (heading RPGLMS, tagline “Leveled-Up Learning”), tap Email. The sign-in dialog opens on Requesting Credentials; tap Sign me up! to switch to registration — the header becomes Sign Up, Adventurer!

Fill the registration form
Enter your Email, First Name, Last Name, Display Name (“how others will see you”), and Password — a live checklist shows the password requirements. Tick both consent boxes: the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy agreement, and “I confirm I am 13 years of age or older.” Then tap Continue. Submit stays disabled until both boxes are ticked and the password is valid.

Verify your email
We email a 6-character code. Enter it on the Verify account screen and tap Verify. A valid code signs you straight in — there’s no separate completion screen — and the app drops you on Home Base.

Make your first campaign
-
Find the Gamemaster Quarters card
On Home Base, a brand-new account shows two cards: a pink My Parties card and a purple Gamemaster Quarters card. (A first-run “Meet Your Hero” avatar sheet may pop up — customize or dismiss it.)

Tap Create Campaign
In Gamemaster Quarters, tap Create Campaign. The hint below explains: “Create your first campaign to begin your story. A personal house will be set up automatically.” (A separate Create House button is intentionally hidden until you have a campaign — and only ever appears for active Sovereign members.)
-
Fill the campaign form and save
Give the campaign a title, subject, and audience; optionally add a first class and attach Story Settings. Save it. The server creates the campaign and auto-creates a personal House named after you — so you don’t have to set one up first. You’re taken straight into the Campaign Builder.
-
You're in the Campaign Builder
This is where you author paths, nodes, and content. See Create a Campaign → Path → Node for the full authoring flow.
If something goes sideways
Sign-in errors appear inline beneath the submit button (not as pop-ups). If you close the dialog mid-verification, you’ll be asked to confirm (“Leave sign-in? Your verification progress will be lost and you’ll need to request a new code.”).
