Request a Realm & control it as admin

Realms are the Enterprise organization unit for schools and districts — requested through support, provisioned by us, then managed by your realm admin.

Requires Enterprise Role: Realm admin (admin-provisioned)

Verified against app build 416eaf32d · 2026-05-29

A Realm is the Enterprise tier’s organization unit — a school or district that contains Houses (departments), campaigns, and parties. It’s the top of the hierarchy: Realm → House → Campaign → Party.

Subscription

Requires Enterprise or higher.

Realms are an Enterprise feature. They are not self-serve — there is no in-app “Create Realm” button for customers.

How to get a Realm

Enterprise customers request a Realm through support / sales (email wizardbusiness@rpglms.com). Our team provisions the Realm and enrolls your organization’s owner as the realm Master (District Admin). From there, the owner manages it in-app using the steps below.

Control your Realm

  1. Open the Realm (District) dashboard

A realm admin reaches it from the purple Gamemaster Quarters card — a globe icon (“Manage <Realm name>”) opens the dashboard. The app-bar title is your realm’s name (it falls back to “District”). The info card shows member, House, and party counts, an AI-usage bar for the realm’s pooled tokens, and a role breakdown: District Admins, Coordinators, Members.

  2. Add departments (Houses) under the Realm

In the Houses section, use Add Department to create a House attached to the realm — the sheet is titled Create Department. On save you’ll see “Created department: <name>”.

  3. Invite district members and assign roles

In the Members section, Invite User opens the invite dialog (“Invite to <realm name>”). Pick a RoleMaster, Sage, or Apprentice — which map to the dashboard groups District Admins, Coordinators, and Members. Realm invites require explicit acceptance.

  4. Manage members and departments

Each member row offers change-role and remove. Open a department’s Manage Department action to run its campaigns and classes (realm-attached Houses use “Department” wording throughout).

  5. Edit Realm settings (Master only)

The realm Master can edit the realm’s name and motto via Edit Realm. Enterprise configuration — the AI token pool, seat limits, and allowed email domains — is managed by our team.

Roles are not tiers

Inside a Realm, Master / Sage / Apprentice are membership roles (rendered as District Admins / Coordinators / Members) — a separate axis from the Enterprise subscription tier that the Realm runs on.
