The Codex is RPGLMS’s public reference — no sign-up, no join code, no demo flag required. It replaced the old in-app “how it works” content with a proper Glossary, FAQ, and Guide, and it’s the easiest way to see what a quiz actually feels like before you commit to an account.

1. Open the Guide tab

   The Codex has three tabs: Glossary, FAQ, and Guide. Glossary defines the game vocabulary (Trial, Rift, Engagement, and the rest); FAQ answers common questions. The Guide tab is where you’ll spend the most time — it lays out a row of mob stones, each representing a subject you can try.

   

2. Tap a mob stone

   Tapping a mob stone launches a Practice Quiz for that subject at /practice-quiz?subject=science or ?subject=econ. Science and Econ are currently the only two subjects. The parameter is case-insensitive, and a missing or unrecognized value falls back to Science rather than erroring — so a bare /practice-quiz link works and opens the Science set.

   The Practice Quiz plays like a real Trial — questions shuffle, your mob animates, and you answer against the clock — but there’s no sign-up, no join code, and no leaderboard to worry about. It’s a real taste of the quiz loop, not a stripped-down preview.
